Hey Trevor. I believe it was due to testing that HQ did. The other design took up more space and wasn't meeting the "space saving" functionality that was hoped for. This design also was a bit more stable. Very Zen-modern.

When did the final design change? Perhaps a materials issue?

Here are some promo details for this week. . .We'll call it the "In it To Win it" promo. Here's how it works. Order a Click 'n Cook anytime between now and Friday, August 13th at 11:59 p.m. E.S.T. (if you were one of the folks who ordered yesterday, we'll count those too) and get an entry into the prize giveaway (order multiple CnC's, get multiple entries). For every five Click 'n Cooks ordered, we'll add a new prize to the giveaway list. Prize value will range from $5 up. At the conclusion of the promo, I'll draw winners. Those entries that get picked, win the prize that matches their pick order. It's that simple. To get involved, simply order a Click 'n Cook and send me your order number (either message me on Quirky or email headspatula@clickncook.net). Make sure to also mention the number of CnC's you ordered. We've sold three since yesterday. As long as we sell two more, we'll give away our first prize. . .A free Click 'n Cook! Remember, for every five sold, a new prize gets added to the mix! Come use some of your Quirky savings and play! :)

Hi all. Figured we'd get some Click 'n Cook promos running again. With less than 200 left to go, we should nail this one out of the park. So I'll be posting promos over the next few weekends to keep things interesting! This weekend's (5/21-5/23) promo is "Pick-A-Promo." Here's how it works: For every two Click 'n Cooks you pre-order, you get to choose from four prizes: - A fifty dollar Restaurant.com gift certificate - A ten dollar rebate - A "mystery" prize (valued at ten dollars or more). . .How daring are you. . . :) - An entry into a drawing for $100 cool, hard, cash (this prize will only be available if we pre-sell at least thirty units this weekend). If you select this option but we don't get thirty pre-orders, you can pick from one of the other three. To play, simply pre-order at least two Click 'n Cooks between now and Sunday 5/23 at 11:59 p.m. E.S.T, and message me (or email me at headspatula@clickncook.net) with your order number, the number of Click 'n Cooks you ordered (for every two you get a promo prize) and the prize(s) you would like. In the spirit of fairness, all prizes will be delivered once CnC hits threshold. Remember, as with all other promos, this applies to new orders only, and please keep your commitments if you choose to play! Let's rock this! Fred

A good thought, Tiago. We could do it by color since each head has a separate color attachment. . .

I'm wondering shouldnt we make a instruction booklet for what each spattula is for ? because I seriously doubt that my mother is going to know which of the spatulas are used for what !

Happy Saturday, Quirks. So, here’s the plan for the Mother’s Day Click ‘n Cook promo running this weekend (thanks to Michael Taylor for the excellent idea). Starting now and running until 11:59 p.m. E.S.T. on Sunday, every Click ‘n Cook you commit to will earn you a $25 restaurant gift certificate from Restaurant.com. Want to purchase a Click ‘n Cook for two people? Get $50 in gift certificates! Four people? Get $100 in gift certificates! The certificate is good at over 15,000 restaurants throughout the U.S. (I vetted some of the selections for my area, and they happen to be quality restaurants that I’ve either eaten at or have friends who have). Why does this promo work for Mother’s Day? Well, since you can’t physically give the Click ‘n Cook to your mom yet (or for the mom’s here, since someone can’t give it you :) ), you can order one to give at a later date, and use the gift certificate to go towards a nice meal out for mom in two weeks! How do you play? Simply pre-order at least one Click ‘n Cook, and then message me or email me at headspatula@clickncook.net by 11:59 p.m. E.S.T. on Sunday. Provide me with the number you committed to, your order number, and an email address to send the gift certificate to. It’s that easy. Two quick rules: First, this promo applies for new orders only. Second, only commit if you can keep your commitment. Otherwise it takes away from the fun! Tweet, post, and do whatever you can to let the whole world know! Let’s do this! Let’s shoot for the stars and make the limit for this promo to the first hundred and fifty orders :)! P.S. Sorry Quirks outside the U.S., but it doesn’t appear as if these certificates are valid outside the states. You can always email them on to a friend or family member in the states and see if they’ll give you the fair market value in your currency. In the meantime, I’ll see if I can find something similar that works internationally!

Morning, Quirks. We presold eight Click 'n Cooks yesterday. Nice job to all! So, even though yesterday's promo won't continue, here's the promo available for today. Buy in bulk, get one free! That's right. Commit to three Click 'n Cooks today, get an additional one free, courtesy of me. Once you've committed to three, send me an email at headspatula@clickncook.net or message me on Quirky. Remember, only new commitments apply. This promo runs from now (10:00 a.m.) to 7:00 p.m. E.S.T. Check back after seven for details on tomorrow's promo. Have fun!

Click 'n Cook is going to go on sale for a limited time courtesy of yours truly. This is what you need to do: Starting now, the first twenty Quirks to commit to a Click 'n Cook will get five dollars back when it hits threshold and you’ve been billed. If we get twenty commitments on Saturday, the promo will repeat on Sunday (starting again at midnight) with the same deal! Otherwise, the promo ends on Saturday. Once you commit to a Click 'n Cook, message me on Quirky or send me an email at headspatula@clickncook.net. Include the number of Click 'n Cooks you ordered (yes, for this promo you can commit to more than one and multiply your savings. . .that means you can technically buy five and get the sixth almost free :) ) and the commitment number (for instance, if you are the next one to order, you would be number 130). A few rules. . .this promo only applies for new commitments. . .also, only engage in this promo if you can keep your commitment. Otherwise I’m reimbursing you for not buying a product :). Have fun!

Here’s the deal for Mega-Lottery Monday: Top prize being awarded is a $100 shopping spree to Quirky. Minimum prize is a $32.00 shopping spree. Here’s how it works: To participate, commit to at least one Click ‘n Cook (only new orders count) and message me or email me (headspatula@clickncook.net) when you’ve done so. Each commitment made counts as one entry into the drawing (so if you commit to three, you get three entries. . .make sure you let me know how many commitments you make). For every Click ‘n Cook commitment made beyond the first one, the dollar value of the prize goes up by one. So, if thirty commitments are made, the total value of the shopping spree will be $62.00. If sixty-eight are made, the maximum amount of $100.00 will be reached. At 10:00 p.m. EST, I’ll draw from all entries and the winner gets to spend the dollar amount on any Quirky product(s) they want. As a postscript, my word is my bond. . .for this promo, yours must be too. Please only pay to play if you know you'll keep the commitment. Otherwise it takes away from the fun. Tweet this up! Good luck!

"Click 'n Cook is a modular spatula system that keeps all your essential utensils in one easy place" please change this statement. A kitchen draw or the ubiquitous cylindrical container that is on most benches does this too so this is statement is not offering a point of difference. The images do not scream "space saving" to me in fact the bench proportions looks like it would take up more space than a cylinder. Focus more on the benefits.
