Show AllDo not understand why these are not at Target and why more have not sold. I gave 6 as gifts and everyone loves them. I have 1 and use it almost everyday. Will buy again.
Can't really enhance any of the negative comments offered, except I get the impression it was a "backward design". In other words; they had to come up with four (flat) kitchen utensils that would fit into a base with a predetermined size. I can buy a $2.00 spatula and a $2 medium sized flipper for 90% of my needs. It matters not if the flipper has grooves, holes or solid. Futhermore, the few times I have used a spatula I prefer the round handle. I cannot fathom this item being a monumental success........or modest success. 2 star rating was overly benevolent
I cook with grease and oils a ton so the handle will get dirty from splashing. I would have to wash the handle between meals. If I have more than one handle then it kind of feels like I dont need handles that come off. If i'm going to have 2 or 3 handles, why not just have one on everything? Also, I use more than one long handled utensil while I cook. Am i going to switch handles each time I want to stir something? This is kind of a cool idea on the surface, but i think it would flop in a drawer and be an after thought.
what's with the missing handle you
you have to search for? and what about
when you want to use more than one spatula at a time for a bigger meal and
why is this helping anything? there's no space saving, as the things are in a display with nothing but air above them so why not have handles on them too? it is too much to have to "assemble" a freaking spatula
we have one handle for four spatulas. without the handle, the whole product will be useless and worth nothing. i would suggest to include an additional handle just in case, first one is gone bad.
I wouldn't mind getting this but it needs expansions for even more attachments. Ideally it would be everything I need. Maybe even we would select what we want
Not liking this too much.
I always misplace my remote and cordless telephones...Maybe I have memory issue but I'm sure there may be others that struggle with the same.
I would not buy. I would only misplace the handle and burn my hand resorting to flipping burgers with just the spatula end.
All I can say is, why? Why should I spend $40 to limit myself to one handle while cooking? What is the problem with each spatula having its own handle? It makes much more sense for each spatula to be usable without having to first remove the handle from another one. This system just adds more work to cooking. The part where the handle attaches will be prone to collecting debris and harder to clean than a smooth handle. And what happens if you ever lose the handle piece? Yay, 5 uselessly short spatula heads!
Congrats on complicating something that already made sense.
Also, why are so many people who are complaining about this product giving it 5 stars when they submit their reviews? Now this thing has a 4-star average, when it should have 1 or 2. Good grief.
I foresee food buildup, drip, etc. falling into area that needs to snap tight? Cooking can get messy.
Best way to join the two is resistance slip joints. Meaning it has to click. Current design is slip in tight. That will loosen with heat transfer and use. The spatula's hand should have ribs on it with matching ribs on the handle so it clicks on at least two ribs and try re-imaging on next development of this product to utilize flip up knife ideas to clip it hard like not just slip on, but a shutter lock design where 90 degree metal clip can turn to tighten its joint once slipped on with ribs on slip joint.
