Digits - Stay Warm, Stay Connected

Don’t let the cold keep you from your connections! Digits are mini conductive pins that attach to the gloves you already love so you can use electronic touch screen devices, like smartphones and MP3 players, even when it’s below zero.

How to use Digits:
- Place the back side of the digit (with post) inside the fingertip of the glove and push through.
- Twist the other side of the digit onto the post.
- Attach digits to as many fingers on the glove(s) as desired.

Features:
- Made of conductive silicone, with a metal pin on the back for attaching to your glove.
- Color: black.

Digits come in packs of four so you can use them on multiple sets of gloves or give a set to a friend.

Great but needs a few tweaks

The Digits work really well but they need a couple of slight tweaks. I intended to use them on my summer motorcycle gloves which are made from thin leather. Installing them was a breeze but since the gloves are form-fitting the outside of the Digits stuck out very far from the surface of my fingers causing them to get stuck on anything I might touch like cables or switches and even each other. It was pretty impossible to actually use my hands for something as simple as unbuckling my helmet. I tried superglueing the body of the Digits to the glove surface which worked to some extent, except that superglue doesn't bond well to silicone so they eventually popped off. My suggestion is to incorporate some sort of adhesive backing to the underside of the pad around the brass spike which would be durable enough to withstand normal wear on a tight-fitting glove. Another suggestion I have is to make the brass pad inside the glove slightly concaved so it "spoons" the surface of the finger instead of the way it currently butts up to a flat surface. This would make it easier to maintain a higher level of manual dexterity. Again, I love this product. I just wish it had a few slight modifications.

one time use

they work okay but to take them off and reuse them.. it damages the things.

Seems like a good product

I like the idea of this product. I never realized it but its true that when youre outside you cant really use your phone without taking the gloves off. This is a good solution to that. But can i shovel snow with these on?
