If there was a way to add additional "grabbies" it could also be used as a laptop support device.

    Simple good product.
An Idea: Both the legs of the Cradle can be curved a bit inwards so that the cradle can held between thighs when held in upright position also.. will this workout?

I love this and I am on the commit list, but I believe one aspect is missing that would put it over the top. The circular plate besides turning needs to be able to elevate. By elevating you would not have to tilt the whole thing forward depending on what angle you were lying at in bed or on a couch.

I would buy this if you could fold it and use it as a carrying case as well. Is it possible to place small hinges on the sides to create this functionality?

I'm new to Quirky and have an idea for an iPad lap desk. So I searched the site and found this one. Quite honestly I liked the original idea better. Definitely needs a redo. It's all about comfort and this does not look comfortable for the end user.

Don't like the color of the white turn table, and everyone is right, the angle needs to be facing towards the person or the neck will be cramped. Needs to go back for a redo!

One of my concerns is if the 2 tangs that look like they secure the iPad to the turn table is if they will accomidate an iPad thats in a case or not ????? I want one of these, but I'll most likely end up modifying it so I'll be able to set my iPad on it still inside its protective case.

Not useful unless you can change the angle of viewing. If only parallel to the ground, that is bad ergonomics - especially for your neck.

i'm not sure if anyone has pointed this out yet, but this product will not work unless the plane of the ipad makes at least a 15-30 degree angle with respect to the ground plane. the accelerometer won't be able to distinguish the orientation change--try it with your ipad or iphone.

I loved Hans' inspired and ultimately original design, so I'm a bit disappointed that the turntable seems to be an afterthought. I've committed to the product, but I can't see the Cradle, as it is shown, being an improvement on a breakfast tray with a Lazy Susan.
