Just the ticket!
I go to quilting retreats where we plug in a lot of stuff besides sewing machines, many of which have the large adaptors. I bought this about six or eight months ago and it's been perfect. I'm going to buy another one to go on the floor under my home sewing table -- all the plugs in the straight power strip cause it to tip over and I have to crawl under the table to get at the on/off switch. I don't think it will tip over with Pivot Power's round shape.
Pivot Power
I'm looking forward to trying the Pivot Power. The idea is terrific. My only concern is if the plastic joints and wires inside are strong enough to withstand numerous repositionings.
Only 2 outlets work now! A pivot broke.
Apparently the pivot design needs work. I pushed the power strip aside with my foot and that was enough to break something inside the second pivot it so now only the first 2 outlets work. Otherwise, its a good idea.
