A custom iPhone case can show off your personal style, but only if it remains the same day in and day out. Pegit is a modular pegboard case for the iPhone 5, with interchangeable color panels that can be swapped out to suit your mood. Each case features a standard pegboard with six individual panels, allowing you to create your own color combinations by collection panels or trading them with your friends. Whether you’re repping your nation with red, white and blue, or feeling beatnik with a little tan-on-black, there’s not a day or event without a color combo to match.
Features:
- Pegboard hard case to support various color panels
- Six interchangeable panels for a modular appearance
Materials:
- Plastic
Dimensions:
- 125mm H x 60mm W x 9mm D
This is SO cute. I love the customization. Right now I have just the top and bottom panels in with the dots showing in the middle. Very cool. My only complaint is that I wish this was a two-piece design that snapped together. This case doesn't protect the front of the phone at all; if I drop my phone flat on its face, there will be no screen protection. Just a little layer around the edges on the front would make a huge difference.
I love that this case lets me put my own personal touch on an every day accessory...my iPhone!
I was very excited to order this case when it originally debuted on Fab (http://fab.com/inspiration/pegit-pre-order-red). The unique style, shape, form and price really caught my attention. Unfortunately the product I got was not what I saw in the photo. This case is pretty bulky and has a glossy finish (easy to scratch). In the photo, it looked a lot more narrower with a matte finish. Also, the plates were cut differently. Also, this was delayed for about a month so I had to wait with a naked phone for a while. In Quirky's defense, they did send me another case, free of charge, no questions asked. I really appreciate the customer service. If there is ever a round two set of these, I would definitely try my luck again and purchase another.
