Show AllI am of Norwegian heritage and we Scandinavians love our waffles! Unfortunately, I haven't found the waffle irons in the US to be as nie as the ones my family have in Norway. Belgian waffles are too deep and thick. I would love to see you make additional inserts for the smaller patterned waffles that Scandinavians prefer. I love the concept of the waffle cup! Great idea.
i'd love to make my own waffle cups...ice cream never tasted so good! my recommendation is to have an option to get the standard waffle grid size. I looked my current waffle maker for 3 months because all that was out there is Belgian size grids.
This needs a Taiyaki insert. If you guys don't know what taiyaki are, please google it. They are delicious fish-shaped japanese pancakes usually stuffed with sweet red beans. :)
Can't wait to own this!
Can't find any other way to ask, so.. will this be compatible with European 230V outlets? Specifically swedish ones..
I love waffles, I like the idea of interchangable inserts, How many other designs have you besides belgian or the cup?? I'm adding this to my cart for sure.
This looks like a great product with a very interesting twist. Personally I would preferred the use of the Minimalist WAFFLER logo -- as others have said I think the "chef" logo isn't the best, mainly because it takes this very creative idea and associates it with a somewhat cliche logo image. Other than that I'd definitely like to try this out!
This logo is so lame but waffle cups look delicious!
that looks great ! cant wait for my waffle shots
Will this product include a small book of recipes? There could be a handful of recipes from QS and the community that get voted on + rated using the established Quirky process. The goal of this would be to have multiple winners. The book could be sold as well.
That's a great idea! Right now there aren't any plans for a foray into the world of cookbook publishing, but an extended blog post or PDF e-book could be possible.
