I just bought two of these beauties. I love them, but not because it separates work from play, but rather because I have two 4GB memory sticks in one unit. I work on multiple projects, and more often than not need one side for research, field notes and references, and the other for the actual document. For me it's like having the primary document on one side and the footnotes on the other. I think the marketing is a little off on this product. Work and play really don't fit into my thinking. But terrific product.

I had several issues with Stick. When I plugin the Stick into a standard USB connection I founded it to be too tight. Thinking that the issue may be my USB port; I tried other port had the same issues. I also discovered that casing is too tight to extract the USB connection from the housing of the Stick. When you push on the tap to extract the USB connector the would come off.
This is a great idea but with a market full of USB stick available at lower price; I have to question manufacturing materials and price point.

Only complaint is that the little slider button you grib to slide to get form one stick to the other is very weak, and I already popped it off once, other then that, I love the aluminum and rubber feel, super sturdy usb stick, would love it even more if it was better made.

Ive had my Split stick for a year now and I love it. With my other flash drives I'm always filling them with a mash-up of class and personal related files and programs. I'm so much more organized with the split stick. The only thing I don't like about it is the rubber gripper that surrounds both usb ends and runs along the sides. It constantly falls off in my pocket and gets lost. Look forward to seeing the new Split Stick design! I will probably buy the new version as well.

Although it is way too expensive, I think the idea behind it is actually pretty good. Busy people may have alot of folders and this is a more efficient way of organizing your documents.

Why not just get a much cheaper and larger drive, and make two folders? BRILLIANT!

    MAKE IT CHEAPER
trust me it will sell way better if it is in impulse buy territory

Within months of receiving my Split Stick the plastic slider broke off. While I can still use the device, I have to push the slider over with a pen or something else in order to switch over. Love the idea but not the material it's made out of.
