I may be a little late on this one, but there is already a product out there that does this. It is called Quatro. I bought sets for my sons when I was stationed in Europe and we built forts with slides, a twin bed when visiting kids stayed over, a jungle gym, etc. I can provide pictures and photo of the book if you'd like.

YES! Kids of all ages would love this! And maybe my bar stools would stay in the kitchen! Make clips of some kind so that they have use multiple blankets or sheets, clips that won't ruin or snag my throws please! And make the plastic frame adjustable, so they can use it as a lean-to, tipi, or a full-fledged little log cabin. Or maybe just a top that will sit between two pieces of furniture.

I had something similar as a child (grandmother sent it from Holland), and I was one of 6 kids, so this went over big! Haven't seen anything like it since. I'd buy it now, for my soon-to-be grandchildren.
