Don't have to dirty extra bowls
Just having extra bowls sitting around to store the food you just chopped up takes a bunch of space. So nice to store it under the cutting board. Also, the drawers have nice little stopper so they don't slip out when moving the whole unit. This thing is great, especially for smaller kitchens.

Well made; surprise benefit
I gave one of these to my wife last week. The product is very well made, better than expected. One of the surprise benefits to this is that it is raised (most cutting boards are flat) and it allows her to chop easier as it is a bit taller than the counter top. Much more natural height.
