The Waffler needs a little logo magic. For this project take a glance at the recent blog post for some help with design direction .
This little guy kept popping up in my mind. So here he is...I love the identity. Great image.

Waffle "W"

I wanted to create a logo that had a similar aesthetic as the product. The curved edges and minimalist modern design.
The two wavy lines symbolize steam.

A clean simple design mirroring the shape and color of the waffler with the raised feel of a waffle.
It can be easily embossed on the waffler as well.
Shown in a color version and a black and white version.

I think this goes with the blog inspiration but I guess that's up for debate. A flashback to the 50's.
Disclaimer: In the interest of time I pulled the image of the woman from clip-art. So if this were to be used either the clip art would need to be purchased or I would have to draw a new image from scratch. I kind of wanted to draw a woman eating a waffle or something, but like I said I don't have enough time.

I keep going back to the aesthetic highlighted in the blog post—which doesn't yet seem to be represented here—and trying to combine the warmth of the "waffle experience" that we all seem to be responding to most. It's really interesting to try and find that balance...
