Peter’s Orange Bag is already a well defined direction. For this concept phase, we should be riffing on his winning submission: improving usability, ergonomics. Considering size and materials. Positioning of the shoulder strap and bag compartments. This round should be more like a ‘refine’ round than a ‘concept’ round.
QDS will submit fresh sketches over the next few days (6th-7th) that are close-in refinements of Peter’s bag. The round will be extended again, until Wednesday 12th January.
To further clarify, here is some design direction you should use as guidance when submitting ideas:
The bag WILL:
1) collapse down when not in use
2) be ergonomic, easy to carry. We already stated in the eval video that the bag must change from original shape (we suggested a ‘kidney shape’). Think of bags you carry load in and how those bags are designed to comfortably distribute weight on your body.
3) incorporate breathable but protective mesh compartments
4) have sections that can be adjustable
5) Have compartments for larger items.
The bag WILL NOT:
1) Look like an orange…
