I was going to write something here… but i forgot what i was supposed to be…. writing….

Oh, here it is.. right on my mousepad.

We’ve got a mouspad that lets you keep notes on the fly… its called the scratch-n-scroll and it needs a killer visual identity.

Details, people… Details.

its basic mechanik equals the “magic slate” a child toy.

1. Theres a wax coated plate at the bottom.
2. The layers above are the thin semitransparent sheet and the transparent top cover.
These layers are connected (in my prototype i just glued em together using spray
mount – works fine).
3. When scratching with pressure using your finger nail. the thin semitransparent
layer sticks to the wax coating and the wax plating shimmers thru – showing the
lines you “wrote”.
4. When the note isnt needed anymore: just lift the top-layer and the layer will lift of
from the wax coating. and oyu end up with a blank pad again.
5. repeat as you like.
