The world’s smartest air conditioner

Smartphone savvy

On the go? Don't want to get up off the couch? Aros has you covered either way. It connects via Wi-Fi and can be monitored, programmed, and controlled from anywhere with the easy-to-use Wink app.

Budget conscious

Aros keeps a constant eye on how much you’ve spent on cooling each month and offers suggested settings based on your budget and the upcoming weather report, so you can save on energy costs.

Intuitive scheduling

Aros learns from your patterns to cool when you need it, not when you don’t. It predicts the temperatures you like when you wake up, lounge on weekends, leave for work, or return home.

Anticipates your movements

Aros responds to your smartphone's GPS settings (in a non-creepy way) to turn off when you leave and perfect the temperature by the time you get back. You’ll never come home to nasty, stuffy summer heat again.

Game-changing design

Its innovative design features upward airflow, which increases circulation. It also redirects noise so you can switch between its three cooling modes and three fan speeds discreetly.

Best looking A/C on the block

All this brain power is paired with unprecedented beauty. Aros features flat, touch-capacitive sensors, a sleek LED display, and retractable fabric wings that ensure the right fit in your window.

Garthen Leslie

Columbia, Maryland

Like all Quirky products, Aros was invented and influenced by real people like you. Garthen spent time at the Department of Energy helping to cut costs and conserve resources, but it was his own dysfunctional air conditioner that sparked the idea for Aros. So he dreamt of a smarter air conditioner, then 2994 Quirky community members helped him make Aros a reality.

2987 influencers helped bring Aros to life.
