I started in product design in 1974 and worked for several major consulting firms through the seventies and eighties. Founded Design Core in 1984. I have worked on the design of everything from trains and helicopters, to high-end furniture, surgical instruments, exercise equipment, consumer electronics, candies and chocolates, and many, many other areas.
In the late 80's, became involved in high-end 3D computer graphics initially for design visualization, but as my expertise and reputation broadened, I found a lot of clients in advertising, corp. communications, publications and television. Founded WowHouse in 1999 to give a separate focus to these areas.
Now both firms are active in their respective realms, with occasional overlap.
I am a dedicated generalist, and wouldn't have it any other way, it keeps me happy and stimulated, and benefits our clients in many cross-disciplinary ways.
