Congratulations on the LapPad idea and design. I really was a fan of the original design, which I considered perfect for its purpose :), but unfortunately it didn't won

This wasnt catching me, but the video made the trick. Congrats to you by making this possible and to Matt by making my head turn towards it.
How about a quick "about you" for people admiring your work and wanting to know more:
Video Editor for past 15 years. 5 kids! Love anything that has to do with the arts, especially movies and live theater. If I could do anything for a career I would sit in a room by myself for 10 hours a day and edit ... rock on(!) 'cause that's what I do!!!
What is the first product you ever saved up to buy?
Roland Synthesizer Rack Mount: D-10 was the product name if I remember right.
Tell us a bit about your education:
5 years of college. Theater, Music ... 128 hours, no degree, go figure. Got a job instead.
The product you admire most today?
Anything Apple. Seriously. Without their product line I'd be on a PC ... and that would suck.

Well Hans - myself and all the Trekies morn the loss of a fabulous designed cradle. However, I still feel good about it. I'm confident that Quirky will give us the features you championed.
