@corey idea for you - if you could imagine a hot water bottle but the size of a pillow case imagine that you pre-load the case with lotion on one side of the case you have a number of wheels/rollers that pertrude by 50% above and below the surface (like a ladies deodorant dispenser with the roller/ball applicator) as you softly roll backwards and forwards (your back is now compressed against the rollers on the sleeve and your towel on the sand) as you roll backwards and forwards the rollers pick up lotion within the sleeve and apply it to your back hope you follow; could also double up as a back scratcher andy UK less
