Raja Gondkar

A graduate in Applied Arts from Sir J J Institute of Applied Arts, Mumbai; Raja Gondkar is a design enterprenur with wide experiance in several design domains.

Currently in transit from 'academic' arena of jewellery to a 'creative enterprenur' active in the craft sector; aquiring new skills, learning new medias hands-on, cosoladating various medias to develop new product line and trying to get some business experience.

In the current past he has been active for over 25 years in various art, craft & design domains like advertising graphics, Jewellery design, product design, poetry and other literary arts. Last over a decade he has diverted to the academic side of Jewellery and has been involved in development of various courses ranging from short term to longer duration diplomas; training materials, study manuals and imparting training in the field of Jewellery Design & Manufacture with several institutions in India.

He has to his credit a presented paper, and selected abstract on International platfroms, has made presentations and held workshops on reputed national platforms, has won many awards in Jewellery Design, has been a judge to several national design competitions and has written columns for some Jewellery related magazines.
