How Do You Crate?
Posted ago by Nathaniel
Over the past two weeks we’re sure some of you have wondered why we made such an event out of mapping the location of Target stores that carry Crates. While we were partly motivated by the tidal wave of requests we have received regarding where Crates are available for purchase, we also wanted to make sure as many of you as possible could participate in a new promotion we are unveiling. In fact, we’re blowing the lid off it right now. Launching today is the brand new How Do You Crate? page, a portal for discovering and submitting ideas for creative ways to assemble your newly acquired Crates.
Want to know the best part? We’re making it a competition.
Running parallel to our other Crates promotion in New York City and New Jersey, How Do You Crate? is an opportunity for everyone in the Quirky community and beyond to participate in a race to find the best ideas for using Crates and its accessories. To be specific, we’re looking for über creative setups that will make us wish we are as brilliant as the rest of you. As a reward for the best configurations, we’ll be giving you a Quirky gift card worth 20% of the price you paid for your Crates and accessories, no matter how much they were. In fact, the more Crates you purchase the more epic your setup will likely be, so we’ll be happy to take some of the load off your back.
So how does it work?
Snap a photo or a few photos of your Crates configurations and go to www.howicrate.com. We’ll be periodically uploading some of our own photos as inspiration, so feel free to browse through what is there, but aim to come up with your own creative setup. Click the button in the bottom left of the page to upload your picture and provide a description.
Next, email your name, photo(s) and a crystal-clear picture of your Target, Staples or OfficeMax receipt to firstname.lastname@example.org, so we know how much to reimburse you if you win. We will not consider any submissions that are not accompanied by a receipt.
Finally, you can help us determine which setups are the best by clicking the heart icon that appears in the bottom right of an image when you hover your mouse over it.
We’ve really enjoyed putting together and photographing our own Crates configurations and can’t wait to see what all of you come up with. This is going to be a ton of fun, so let’s get started. May the best arrangements win!
