Justin Giannone replied to a forum topic Competitve Products on the Market

Hi EW - happy new year. I am not holding out hope for Catch getting made, however, the existence of this product (that just goes around the pan) has little to do with that. I was fully aware of this product type when Catch was designed, as well as the simple over the pan type of splatter guard and the half-fold type you can get from pampered chef. Catch was meant to be something different. Apparently, not different/useful enough. Oh well.

Hi Justin! Thank you for following me. My idea went up yesterday. It's a simple safety device that could save lives during winter snow storms. It's called the "Send Help Strobe." http://tinyurl.com/SendHelpStrobe I hope you'll look at it and give me your feedback. I think your experience in electrical components would be helpful. Thanks, --Katy
