Strain and serve

Two kitchen essentials in one

Its base features a silicone seal and can be added or removed to convert Ventu from colander to watertight serving bowl.

Beauty and brawn

Ventu's sleek design integrates handles and a bamboo base. Melamine provides a porcelain-like feel with the strength of a plastic.

Gibsonia, PA

Like all Quirky products, Ventu was invented and influenced by real people like you. Entrepreneur Andrea Zabinski was cooking pasta and found her counters cluttered and her dishwashing time a drag. When she couldn't find a bowl that combined straining, mixing, and serving, she went to a local store to ask around. The clerk recommended she send a rendering of her vision to Quirky. Bingo! This mother of two, CEO, and public speaker now uses her spare time to invent even more.
